I have information on abducted girls – Shettima

Borno State Governor Kashi Shettima said Monday that he has information on the whereabouts of about 200 schoolgirls kidnapped by Islamist group Boko Haram.

Shettima said he had passed reports of the sightings of the girls to the military for verification.
Mr Shettima added that he did not think the girls had been taken across the border to Chad or Cameroon.
The governor has also ordered mass production of the video of Chibok school girls which was released by Boko Haram insurgents on Monday.
The governor said the purpose was to enable the affected parents confirm if the girls shown in the video were part of the abducted girls.
